A delicious pasta recipe with simple ingredients and Mediterranean flavor. A plate that combines in harmony with a glass of a Premium Xinisteri.


  • 500gr fettuccine
  • 800gr shrimps
  • 2 lemons
  • 2-3 garlic cloves
  • 1 bunch of basil
  • ground pepper and sea salt
  • olive oil
  • heavy cream
  • parmesan cheese


  1. Carefully peel the shrimps. Place the cut heads in a pot with 400ml water and boil them, along with 1 clove of garlic for approximately 15 minutes. Then, filter the broth with a sieve, by pressing the heads well. Keep the broth hot.
  2. At the same time, boil the fettuccine in salted water for 9 minutes in order to make them ‘al dente’. In a pan, pour 2-3 spoons of oil and 2 cloves of garlic uncut. Once the olive oil is hot enough, remove the garlic. Place the peeled shrimps in the warm pan and leave them for 1-2 minutes on each side. Season with salt and pepper, a bit of lemon zest and pour in the lemon juice.
  3. Remove the shrimps and in the same pan, place the pasta directly from the pot and increase the temperature. Add the broth you have prepared and the heave cream and mix gently.
  4. When the fettuccine absorb all the broth, sprinkle with basil, some parmesan flakes, pepper and the remaining zest. Serve the pasta as soon as is still warm and accompany it with a glass of Premium Xinisteri!
